Reptile Sand substrate Bucket

Ultimate Exotics Repti Sand is a natural loose substrate for suitable desert and arid reptile enclosures. It is sifted to remove impurities and create a more consistent grain size, producing an attractive, natural-looking terrarium floor.

The sand conducts heat and provides a loose surface for natural digging and burrowing behaviour. It contains no added dyes or chemicals and is supplied in a reusable storage bucket.

Use and Safety

Add the appropriate substrate depth according to the animal’s species and husbandry requirements. Use thermostatically controlled heating equipment and monitor the enclosure temperature with accurate instruments.

Loose sand is not suitable for every reptile or life stage. Avoid using it for animals with health problems or a tendency to consume substrate. Feed from a suitable bowl or solid surface to reduce accidental ingestion and remove contaminated sand promptly.
